New Spa Opening
The Cosmopolitan Toronto Hotel recently opened the Zen-inspired Shizen Spa to blend the latest techniques in acupuncture and holistic philosophy with classic spa treatments.
The Shizen Spa is located on the fourth and fifth floors of the hotel and offers three 500 square-foot private treatment suites. Services include the "Four Hand" massage, where two therapists work in tandem using the same pressure, rhythm and movement, and Ayurvedic massage which uses warm sesame oil and a light and rhythmic touch.
The spa also includes a Life Balancing Center and markets Dr. Grandel skin care, an elite German product line. The spa also plans to introduce its own line of Shizen branded Gemstone Essence amenities that will be exclusive to the Cosmopolitan hotel. The spa plans to open a 1,500 square-foot solarium with floor-to-ceiling windows, Brazilian Walnut flooring.
To complete the relaxation package, guests can visit Doku 15, an Asian tapas restaurant and martini bar, featuring 15 specialty saki-tinis.
