International Medical Spa Association Announces Dates for Symposium at Sea
The International Medical Spa Association recently announced details on program and speakers for its upcoming Symposium at Sea, a 5-day program of advanced education provided by the medical spa industry's leading health care professionals, service providers and researchers.
Scheduled for Dec. 1-5, 2005, registrants for the Western Caribbean cruise may earn up to 12 CEU hours on quality of care and how to develop a successful medical spa. Topics will include future trends in patient care, new techniques and technologies, research, skin care products, liability and insurance, business models and financial planning.
Some of the speakers include Cheryl Whitman, Dr. Eliot Battle, Catherine Atzen, Gina Meyer and Eric Light, among several others. The registration fee, including all materials, is $400 for IMSA members, and $450 for non-members.
The cruise takes place aboard Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Sea and will sail through the Western Caribbean. Special cabin rates start as low as $300 per person for 4 nights, but reservations must be made before Aug. 1, 2005. After that date, cabins will only be available at the regular rates.
